Who can advertise on ThinkBackpacking.com?
Our website is heavily orientated towards travel and we would like to keep our advertisments along the same lines. So if you have a business related to travel then we would love to hear from you.
What size can my banner be?
We are quite flexible with banner size but less so on the home page. This is generally open for negotiation.
How can I order more time for my profile/advert?
Two weeks before your purchasing advertising time expires, we will send you an email offering you the oppotunity to renew your advertising order.
Can I cancel my advertising?
We will be sad to see you go but this is just as easy as renewing. Let us know one week before your advertising time expires and we will cancel your advertising.
What is the 'featured hostels' panel?
The 'featured hostels' panel is an advertising unit which rotates through all the available hostel advertising units we currently have. Every 30 minutes it flicks to a new advert in a continuous loop. For example, if we had 24 adverts, your advert would appear for 1 hour a day in two 30 minute slots. To see the 'featured hostels' panel click here.
What is the 'top 5 hostels' panel?
The 'top 5 hostels' panel appears on the home page. It shows the top 5 hostels which have had their profiles viewed. The gives the hostel the most possible exposure on the site and is highly sort after.

How long is an advertising month?
A calander month is defined from the 1st of the month through to the last day inclusive. If you apply for advertising on the 16th January, the first month of the live advert will be February.
